UPMC Health Plan / Hamot
UPMC Health Plan and UPMC Hamot serve the Erie region in different, connected ways. The Health Plan provides coverage for individuals, families and employers, while Hamot brings hospital and outpatient care to the community. From emergency care to cancer treatment, its services are part of how people in our region look after their health.
As Principal Partners of the Otters, they also share in the nights when Erie comes together for hockey. UPMC is a familiar name around the rink, from the Center Ice boards and seating aisles to the Zamboni preparing the ice between periods.
Hockey Fights Cancer Weekend on March 6 and 7, 2027, brings a more personal side of that relationship into the arena. With UPMC’s support, we will dedicate two home games to recognizing the people and families affected by cancer. It is an opportunity for our hockey community to stand together around something that reaches well beyond the game.
